Our bodies have been squeezed to fit
Our wombs expand to create life
Yet our bodies still get hit
Yet we need to carry knives

Taught to race out other woman
We wish to walk hand in hand
Girls who just long for a friend
are raised to find themselves a man

A part of me in all of you
A part of you in all of me
Apart of all we’re taught to do
We now break loose to wildly be

We all are daughters of our mothers,
We are women, don’t you see
We are meant to love each other
We are women, we are free
